Session Dates

UCLA’s Summer ESL Program offers three independent summer session terms to meet your English language needs. UCLA refers to these summer terms as Summer Session A, Summer Session B and Summer Session C. Summer Sessions A and C each run 6 weeks, while Summer Session B is offered over 3 weeks. Our ESL sessions are designed for international students who wish to pursue English language studies abroad, though matriculated UCLA students are also encouraged to enroll as needed.

UCLA Summer Sessions also observes national holidays that occur during regularly scheduled summer programs. As such, classes will be canceled on the following holidays:

Independence Day (July 4th)

Labor Day (the first Monday in September, although the actual date varies based on the year)
