Sundai Johnson

Sundai Johnson is a multidisciplinary writer. She holds a BA in English and African American Studies from University of Michigan, and an MA.Ed from Stanford University. As an educator at the secondary level, and as a previous lecturer in the AAP Freshmen Summer Program at UCLA, her pedagogical work is largely focused on inclusive teaching and fostering greater equity within institutions. As a brand strategist and copywriter in the creative industry she has worked on a range of digital campaigns and brand identity development projects for a number of brands big and small, distilling real, authentic, human stories into thoughtful, accessible formats across various digital platforms. Her storytelling mediums include brand writing, editorial, poetry, fiction, and essay. She has published two chapbooks and other various works in digital and print. She joins Writing Programs to teach composition.
